Parking @ Blakeney on Tues/Weds 27 – 28th July 2021

There will be very limited parking on the main Carnser for the Blakeney event days this year, because of the high tide. There will also be no space in the dinghy park to leave boats overnight. We have however been given permission to use the overflow car park on the Langham Road to store boats and park cars. This is situated behind the village hall and is approximately a 15 minute walk from the dinghy park (see map) and is free. This will be kept locked at 9:30pm and opened again in the morning, 2 hours before the scheduled race time. On arrival can competitors please allow time to drop off their boats and take their cars and trailers up to the overflow car park via Back Lane to avoid traffic jams. There will be Beach Marshalls directing this, so to minimise disruption when dropping off, please observe their directions. Please do not leave trolleys or trailers in the main Carnser car park next to the Dinghy Park. The Beach Marshalls will organise storage of trolleys during the racing. This process will then need to be reversed at the end of the day. The car park will be open for you to drop boats off following the Wells event on Monday if you wish.
No camping or Motorhomes overnight will be allowed in the overflow car park.
